Removing Bottle Labels

Sometimes we come across either a really nice glass bottle, or a really nice bottle label that we just really want to save. Did I mention the word 'really'? LOL My mother, for example, collects blue glass, so whenever she's able of finding anything that's made of blue glass, she saves it. This includes wine and liquor bottles.

To remove the labels from the bottles is a very easy process. It requires, a pan of water.

Step 1: Fill the bottle up with water, all the way to the top.
Step 2: Stand bottle inside a pan large enough to reach the neck of the bottle. (I normally use a large boiling pot).
Step 3: Fill the pan up with warm water so that the water level is just above the top edge of the label.
Step 4: Let it sit there over night in the water.
Step 5: The next day, gently peel the label off of the bottle. (It should peel right off in one piece, thus allowing you to save both the bottle and the label if you want to).
Step 6: Wash/rinse out the bottle completely and allow to air dry.
Step 7: Enjoy the bottle and/or lablel.
