Keeping Plants Clean

Clean plants are definitely happy plants. Plants gather their energy from several places. Water, soil and sunlight. We often consider the water and the soil. But how often do we think about the sunlight?

Maybe once in awhile? Plants ADORE humidity. Why? Because they have additional water to pull in and keep them healthy. Plants ADORE sunlight, but they can't do that if their leaves are dusty and dirty. Now, I'm not talking about going outside and taking the hose and sprinkler to every tree, bush, shrub and grass blade in your yard. I mean house plants.

Keeping plants clean is super easy and requires only one thing - a water spray bottle.

Step 1: Get plant.
Step 2: Place plant in an area that will not be damaged by water spray/mist.
Step 3: Take water spray bottle and gently, but thoroughly, spray the plant until all the dust, debris and soil are off all of the leaves (this will also help to water the plant so you won't have to actually water it for another day or two after this)
Step 4: Put plant back in its original location
Step 5: Watch plant do happy dance :)
