Cleaning Your Telephone

Have you ever noticed that over a certain period of time, your new phone starts to look icky? Kind of like this strange layer of dirt that suddenly appears over time? This is called "body oil and dirt". It's normal, and easily cleaned up. All you need? Rubbing alcohol and a soft rag.

Step 1: Disconnect the phone from the wire(s) and set wires aside.
Step 2: Put some rubbing alcohol on the rag
Step 3: GENTLY begin cleaning the phone with the rag.
Step 4: Allow to air dry. (or, about 5 minutes)
Step 5: Plug wire(s) back in...
Step 6: Call someone and let them know that you just cleaned your phone and now you want to relax.
This method also works for cleaning phone cords. The rubbing alcohol not only takes off the body oils and dirt quickly, but it also disinfects your phone (on contact). This cleaning tip also comes in very handy when you've got someone in the house (or yourself) that is sick with a cold or a flu. A quick cleaning of the phone will help deter germs and keep the phone disinfected so someone else in the house does not get sick as well :)
