Rainbow Bridge

While I have had many pets in my life, I only have a few pictures on my computer right now. :)

'Oskar'
Male Bombay
Adopted: March, 2001 (he was 8 at the time of adoption)
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on:
April 12, 2005
Age: 12
Notables: Oskar's eyes were so hypnotizing that I still use his eyes in many of my web sets for Halloween and for pets.
Oskar had saved my life on more than one occasion. I'm Asthmatic, and on 3 occasions, Oskar woke up my husband, Jerry, by meowing ultra-loudly, and slamming his head on my husband's face and chest as hard as he possibly could, so my husband could give me my inhaler.
Habits: Oskar used to bring us live birds. Instead of just holding on to them in his mouth, he'd let them go free inside our home.

'Winnie'
Female American Collie
Adopted: August, 1996 (she was 13 at the time of adoption)
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on:
Date unknown
Notables: Winnie was a retired K9 unit police dog that had been re-trained as a Special Needs dog. At the time I adopted her, she'd been back at a local monestary because the person she was taking care of had passed on, and the person's family could not care for Winnie properly.
Habits: Although trained to do many things (her AKC book was almost an inch thick), Winnie had a habit of putting things away, including smaller pets (sans the cat).
(NOTE: This is not a picture of my dog, but since I do not have any on hand to scan, I used this image to show you what she looked like - this is an 'exact' twin of what Winnie looked like)

'Timothy'
Male Silver Tabby
Born: September 10, 1997
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on:
October 29, 2000
Age: 3
Notables: Timothy was the second born to a litter of 8 kittens (all by the same sire). He took on more of his mother's traits, being 'attentive' and 'curious'.
Habits: Timothy 'had to' cook with me when I was in the kitchen. He'd sit on the counter right next to the stove, and push cooking spoons (and any other utensil I was using) towards me as he thought I needed them (and he was often right). He was also one of only 2 cats I've ever had that was capable of hunting down, and capturing, moles.

'Suzz'
Female Silver Tabby
Born: March 16, 1969
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on:
March 9, 1990
Age: 20
Notables: Suzz was a 'matriarch' of the neighborhood (even at a young age). She would never tolerate dogs, of any kind - no matter how well she knew them - on her property, and would actually chase them out of the yard, sometimes going so far as to try and give them a good clawing on their way out.
Habits: Suzz adored any kind of paper bag, or box, to be found. If it was there, it was hers. Anytime we 'lost' Suzz...we knew to start looking in every single paper bag and box in the house. And, she adored sleeping and 'camping' under open umbrellas (thankfully, none of us were superstitious about having open umbrellas in the house).
