FOOD IN DREAMS

APPLES:
If the Apple is Red, it symbolizes love, and is related to Venus, the Goddess of Love. The roundness of it symbolizes eternity and
also is the shape of the Earth from which it comes. It also represents temptation, although this is not a negative aspect. It is
the temptation for you to allow yourself to open up and feel love in all its bounty, just as apples grow on their trees. Bountiful.
The deeper the redness is, the more love you are willing to feel within you.
BREAD:
It is symbolic of nourishment, the body of Christ and of the soul. Seeing bread in dreams often means that there is something within
your life that is nourishing to either your body or your soul, but it is never specific. You will have to look for other clues.
Also, the type of bread seen is not important, but rather, just that you've seen it. It is nourishing for you.
CHERRIES:
Cherries are associated with self-sacrifice. They are also representative of the blood of both warriors and Christ. They also
represent the fruit of paradise. Therefore, seeing Cherries in dreams simply implies that there is strength within your blood line,
like that of a warrior, and that this strength has come, or will come, after much self-sacrifice, so that the rewards of paradise
will be yours.
CORN:
Depending on how corn is seem within the dream, it can represent a few different things, which are all fairly connected. On the
cob, it means life. Off the cob, it means short life.Different colors of corn mean that your life will take many different turns
and directions.
DATES:
More often than not, Dates represent the male's coming of age, and male fertility. It's a 'masculine' fruit, and when in larger
clumps of dates are seen together, it symbolizes paternal grand-ness. Meaning, the man will sire many children, or become a father
soon. It also represents life and fruitfulness. Meaning that the father-to-be will be 'fruitful' and have a larger family in his
lifetime, and possibly many grandchildren as well.
EGGS:
These represent the origin of the Universe, and are found in myths all over the world. They symbolize the womb, as the womb holds
potential for life and birth, and also symbolizes hope and immortaility. White eggs often represent a higher realm of purity, than
brown eggs do. Also, eggs, because of their shape (ovular), also symbolize the "Circle of Life", the never-ending repetition of
life itself. Eggs are a good sight in dreams.
FIGS:
The Fig and its many seeds represent the feminine and fertility. They also represent prosperity. Dreaming of a basket of figs means
the woman is a goddess or mother of many children. In Dreams, the symbology of the fig differs from level to level. Dreaming of a
fig tree, often symblizes the need to cover up something, as Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves. Figs are not common
in dreams, and thus should be noted in dream journals.
GRAPES:
Grapes are also known to have multiple meanins within dreams. They can represent blood and sacrifice, or they can symbolize
immortality and revelry. They also represent the blood of Christ. In higher level dreaming, grapes often represent the blood of
Christ, as being symbolic of higher spirituality. In lower level dreams, they often mean scrifices need to be made in order to

HONEY:
his is also one with many meanings and representations, and all can be present within a dream, or in the waking world. Honey
symbolizes the food of the gods, immortality, fertility, wisdom, the feminine, the Moon and paradise. In dreams, depending on the
level of the dream, it means any or all of these things. The content of the dream itself is not important.
LEEK:
The Leek, long seen on royal crowns symbolic of victory and royalty, also means this within the dream world. Seeing a leek
(which is rare in dreams) means that you will have quick victory over your trials and tribulations in your life, and the outcome
will be of high standard and 'royal' treatment.
LEMONS:
The symbol of purity and faithfulness, the lemon was traditionally thought to have protective properties that could counter magic
spells and poison. In Judaism, the lemon represents the heart. In dreams, the lemon represents the pureness of heart, the
faithfulness within one's relations, and the protectiveness that relationship creates for you. Lemons are very good symbols within
the dream world. It is a happy and protective symbol. You may want to note Lemons in your dream journal.
MILK:
The first and most nutritious food product. Milk symbolizes the peak of immortality, and the best nourishment within the dream
world, and in the waking world. Seeing milk in deams is one of the best signs you could see. It means that you, your family, your
children, friends....all will have great things in life.
OLIVES:
(and Olive Oils)
The Olive wreaths of the gods and the fuel for the Menorah, and the oil for the Sabbath Lamp... Olives symbolize unity with the
spiritual realm. Seeing olives, or olive oil, within your dreams represents your unities with either your particular faith/religion,
and/or, with the heavens. It should also be noted that in higher levels of dreaming, olives, and olive oils also represent omplete
unity with the spiritual realms.
ONIONS:
Onions grow in layers, and thus the onion represents the many laers of mankind and its unity with each other and with the heavens.
Seeing a peeled onion means that you have to peel away one of your outer layers and expose more of your inner self. Seeing a cut
onion means that what you see is what you get, and a whole onion represents all of your relations being bound together in happiness
and solitude. You are content with you.
ORANGES:
Sometimes shown in the hand of the baby Jesus, the Orange is symbolic of good fortune and of fertility. The shape also represents
eternity, as well as the Earth. Because of its color, the orange is also symbolic of the Sun. Therefore, seeing an orange in your
dream is thus symbolic of the eternal life-giving radiance of the Sun, and of good fortune in life.
PEACHES:
This is the symbol of immortality. In China, it symbolizes the onset of joy and the protection against evil. It also represents
salvation. Peaches in dreams represent the immortality of joy and salvation within our lives, and is there as a reminder of all
the good fortune that we have been blessed with. Family, career, children, health, love, happiness. Peaches are good to note in
your dream journal.
PINEAPPLES:
Other than having wonderful healing properties, the pineapples is also considered a life-giving fruit and also a sign of
hospitality. In dreams the pineapple represents visitors. Either visitors from a distance or ones bearing gifts of good fortune.
PLUMS:
Plums have a basic representation both in life and in dreams. The plum symbolizes the female's coming of age. It represents the
youth to pass, and the adulthood to come, and the future of marraige, and motherhood. There is no other meaning for plums within
dreams.
POMEGRANATES:
The Pomegranate represents many things within dreams. Because of the shape of it, it represents the Sun, life and blood. However,
because of its many seeds it also represent fertility. Therefore, when you see a pomegranate, if it is open, it symbolizes
fertility. If it is closed, it represents life, blood or the Sun. Note these in your dream journal.
RICE:
Because rice is considered to be an essential food, it represents immortality and nourishment, both literally and metaphorically.
Therefore, seeing rice within your dreams symbolizes the nourishment of your trinity. Mind, body and spirit. Seeing many different
types of rice means logevity of this nourishment. Bountiness.
SALT:
Because of its purit, salt represents immortality. Named after the Roman goddess of health, Salus, it also symbolizes the human
soul being cleansed and made whole again. Salt in dreams also represents this, as well as the union of the human soul with the
infinate. It is a direct symbol connecting the heavens and the physical earth.
