Shades Of Grey
To some, grey is a dull and most boring color. It is a bland mixture of black and white.
It has an 'old' feel to it. No one looks forward to having anything 'grey'. No grey hairs.
No grey lines. No grey anything. In fact, Grey is the color of clothing sold the least.
Even those who live their entire lives in cities, end up finding grey to be about as boring
of a color as it gets. Stainless steel, concrete, pavement, blocks, posts and even some benches....
all nothing but a boring grey color.

To me, grey is beautiful. It is the perfect meld of no color at all, and all colors at once.
It is as neutral as it gets. It represents the vibrance of youth, coupled with the wisdom and
knowledge only found with age and experience. It is the color of one of the most highly prized
metals on the earth....and, the color of one of the most bacteria-resistant materials on earth.
It is often the color of the moon, as well as the color of ash - known for its life-giving
nutrients found deep within it. Grey clothing, in fact, to me, has a good tone of balance in it.
It is elegant, yet informal.... soft to the eye, yet crisp and clean to the body.

However, some of the most emotional, mind-boggling and moving images are also best viewed....
in shades of grey.
